Week One; On the verge of something great...

Hello Seattle!

My name is Kira Inglis and I am the new receptionist at Northgate Chiropractic. This is my first week and WOW, what a whirlwind of information it has been. And not the kind that goes in one ear and out the other.

I am discovering new things about body functions, symptoms of potentially life-threatening diseases, as well as proper ways to take care of myself and well-being. And not through articles and heresay: it’s through a legitimate Doc. It’s actually very relieving to talk on- on-one with an actual professional and see what I can do to help myself.

I am not going to lie- I had no idea what chiropractic could do for me or for anyone. You drive by so many businesses and see all sorts of practices and signs for local chiropractors but who actually knows what they do?

You will never know until you go. Period.

The shocking thing is that chiropractic help can start as early 3 months old! But on average, people don’t realize the benefits until it’s too late. Ugh. (I’m 24 and already cracking my back!).

But I’m not a preacher (not ever will be!) and I know some things are better learned through experience. So I encourage you to look into it.

QUICK FACTS:
Big Reasons to see a Chiropractor:

Car accidents
Sports injuries
Any back pain!
Banana peel you slipped on
Bad mattress/pillow arrangement
Headaches
Numbness/Pins & Needles!
Any form of insurance that already covers it =) (might as well get your back checked right?)

And as the first week of my new job ends I would have to say that I have learned a lot more than any of my college courses have taught me in 7 days. Haha. Or maybe because I actually understand and see the worth in what I am learning about (relieving pain VS rocks for jocks…..)

Well that’s all for today. I hope everybody had a great Wednesday!

"Our Patients Speak"

I had totally unexpected back pain on a Monday morning after an intense workout one weekend that had me stuck in bed and unable to go to work. After two quick visits with Dr. Steve I was back at work and by the end of the week I was totally functional again. What I so appreciated was Dr. Steve’s empathy and genuine concern for my quick recovery, so much so that he extended hours once to ensure I was taken care of and didn't have to miss more work.

Thank thank thank you to Dr. Steve
